"And Azazel taught men to make swords and knives":

A verse from the book of Enoch, where the watchers assigned by God to protect the Earth become corrupted and taught men sin

In the drawing the man that is in the middle believes that he has been putting the sword through his enemy however the sword is actually being held by an angel(the watcher) which commits the sin without any emotions on its face

Anyone who does not acknowledge the darkness, can never observe the existence of light:

The man in the drawing even though he is holding a candle in his hand cannot see that he is being guided by the demons and is believing that he is walking with his own will

Even though you are surrounded by water, sometimes you can not put the fire out without asking for someones help

This drawing represents me, when I was struggling with the concept of death of my parents. Luckily I have never experienced the death of a close family member however I feel like when I do, it is also going to kill the child inside of me. So in the painting the older me is hugging the younger me, trying to comfort him as the soul of a loved one flies away
